Bartist

I'm enough of a hoarder and DIY enthusiast to be able to take on most projects with a minimum of materials cost. But from time to time, I find myself in need of a batch of materials or piece of equipment that I don't have the budget for. That's where the Bartist program comes in.

Basically, when I need something, I will post it under a Bartist tag. Bartist posts will include a link to where it can be purchased, the price, an explanation of why I need it, and the number of hours worth of work that I am willing to offer in exchange. This will generally be the price of an item divided by five, and Bartist posts will almost always be the cheapest way to purchase my work.

Bartist agreements are also more or less the only time I am willing to accept commissions for custom work. If you would like to make a custom piece part of a Bartist agreement, please email me about it first. If I do not have the materials on hand or my workspace set up to accommodate such a project, we may need to work something out specially.

To take advantage of a Bartist post, simply follow the link in the post and purchase the item through the Amazon wish list system. Then send me an email to let me know how you would like to redeem your hours, whether it's through custom work, a single shipment of pieces, or a monthly subscription.
